Je suis un britannique qui vit en France depuis octobre 2002. Installé dans le sud ouest, j’ai travaillé pour une entreprise américaine développant des logiciels pour la vidéo et pour la 3D.
Cette entreprise nommé Newtek avait une filiale ici en France: Newtek Europe.
J’y avais un rôle pluridisciplinaire, je faisais du marketing, du journalisme , faisais de multiples interviews avec des artistes, du support technique également pour les utilisateurs de logiciels, en anglais, français et allemand.
Je participais aussi à l’organisation d’évênements en France, en Scandinavie et aux US.
J’ai évolué ensuite en travaillant directement pour la société mère aux Etats Unis.
Je leur ai apporté mon expérience en matière de communication, de journalisme et de rédacteur.
Mes compétences sont utilisées pour la réalisation de plusieurs publications disponible sous la forme de livre, de manuels d’utilisation, mais aussi de notice en version numérique concernant les logiciels développés par Newtek.
En plus, j’ai toujours été passionné par la science, la technologie et l’informatique. J’en ai une excellente compréhension. Aujourdhui, je rassemble toutes ces compétences, ces connaissances et ce savoir faire pour les mettre aux services du grand public.

About me
I’m a British guy who has lived in the southwest of France since October 2002. I moved to France to work for the European branch of NewTek, Inc., a big American company making video and 3D products.
I worked for NewTek Europe in a very pluridisciplinary role – as tech support for LightWave users in multiple languages, marketing and using my skills acquired in journalism to write interviews with artists using our products.
I also helped with organising and assisting in multiple events in France, Scandinavia and the US.
I then started working directly for NewTek, Inc. from here in France. I used my writing talents for articles, tutorials and the whole manual for LightWave 3D, some 4,000 pages (when taken from the wiki and published as a PDF).
I’ve always been fascinated by science, technology and computing and have a good understanding. Today, I’m using my knowledge for the benefit of a wider audience. I can teach English or tech and help you with editing, translation, setting up a computer for work or pleasure, and much more.
